Go to Settings, then Account, then the Users tab. Click Add User, fill in the user's full name, email address, group (department), and role, then click Save. Leave the password blank to automatically send the user an invite email so they can set their own password.

Go to Settings, then Learning, and click New Course. Enter the course name (which must exactly match the tab name in your Google Sheet), set a start and end date, select which groups can see it, and click Save. SkillCarrot will automatically pull content from the matching Google Sheet tab.

How do I connect Google Sheets as course content in SkillCarrot?

Go to Settings, then Learning, and click Connect Sheet. Paste your Google Sheet URL and click Connect. Then share the sheet with SkillCarrot's service account email (shown in the connection dialog) as a Viewer. Once shared, click Connect again and it will show as verified. Each course maps to a tab in the sheet - the tab name must match the course name exactly.

What happens when my SkillCarrot free trial ends?

When the 7-day free trial expires, all users in your workspace are automatically deactivated and cannot log in. Your data, courses, and progress are preserved. To restore access, go to Settings, then Account, then Billing, and subscribe to a paid plan. All users are reactivated immediately after payment.

How do I issue certificates to learners in SkillCarrot?

First create a certificate template under Settings, then Learning, then the Certificates tab. Upload a background image and position text variables (learner name, course name, date) on the canvas. Then edit a course, enable the Certificate toggle, select your template, and choose whether to award it on completion or when the learner achieves a minimum score. Certificates are generated and available to download automatically.

What is the difference between Owner, Admin, and Learner roles in SkillCarrot?

The Owner created the account and has full access including billing management. Admins can add and manage users, create and manage courses, and view reports, but cannot access billing. Learners can only view and complete courses assigned to their group and download their own certificates.

How do I bulk upload users to SkillCarrot via CSV?

Accepted Answer

Go to Settings, then Account, then Users, and click Add User. Switch to the Bulk Upload tab, download the CSV template, fill in your user data (email, name, designation, group), and upload the file. All valid rows are created as active users and each receives an invite email. Note: bulk upload only creates Learner-role accounts.

What do I do if a payment fails in SkillCarrot?

Go to Settings, then Account, then Billing, and click Manage Billing to open the Stripe portal. Update your payment method with a valid card and pay any outstanding invoices. Once payment succeeds, your subscription returns to Active and all users regain access automatically.

How do I view learner progress and reports in SkillCarrot?

Click Reports in the left sidebar. The Users tab shows per-learner progress, completion rates, and quiz scores. The Courses tab shows enrollment counts and completion rates per course. The Analytics tab shows visual charts including completion trends and group performance comparisons. You can export all data as CSV.

Why is my course content not updating in SkillCarrot?

Content from Google Sheets is not pulled automatically - you must manually sync after making changes. Go to Settings, then Learning, find the course, and click Sync. Also check that your Google Sheet tab name exactly matches the course name (case-sensitive). If the sheet is not shared with SkillCarrot's service account, syncs will silently return empty content.
